The sequel
The developers behind Cyberpunk 2077 had been moving toward a sequel since the release of CP Phantom Liberty. With little left to do on the game’s first edition beyond maintenance, CD Projekt RED has been firmly focused on what comes next. According to the narrative director of the first edition of the game, the story told there was merely a “warm-up” compared to what will be in the second.
