Interactive Maps and Multimedia Educational Apps for Kids and Students from Poland

Meridian offers the Meridian Prime educational platform with 120 interactive maps. Eduexpert provides five multimedia educational apps from Poland in math, design, and nature.

Meridian Prime is a convenient educational platform with multimedia maps and teaching aids developed by the Meridian Publishing House, specializing in the production of maps and multimedia for 25 years. It supports the work of teachers and engages students. The Eduexpert Publishing House can boast five multimedia products for preschool and early school education. Almost all products are available in English, which allows them to be successful on the international market.

Meridian Prime

The Meridian Prime educational platform adapts to any curriculum framework and teaching model. Anyone can use it stationary, e-learning or hybrid teaching in synchronous and asynchronous modes. It is a typical work environment at school and home, running on all operating systems, including offline mode.

There are currently over 120 interactive maps available on geography, ecology, nature, history, and social education. All of them use interactive content and methodological support. It consists of: tasks, exercises and a bibliography to complete and deepen your knowledge of the issues discussed on the map. It includes hundreds of educational videos, photos, audio files, and interactive graphs and diagrams.

In Poland, 10 thousand students use the platform! It results from a training course for teachers conducted in 2020 by representatives of Meridian in cooperation with teacher training centers.

Eduexpert

Eduexpert offer, in addition to its particular substantive value, satisfies the need to use the inherent medium of the 21st century – modern technology. When designing educational apps, the authors considered the possibility of using the devices available in each facility. It is an interactive whiteboard or, in the case of hybrid classes, a computer or tablet.

The added value is the offline and online access to the software and rich didactic casing. Intuitive use of the available modules, regardless of the educational stage, is tailored to students with special educational needs. It also supports studying of foreign languages, mathematics, the Polish language, and music education. Shaping the future competencies of the young generation is the goal of Eduexpert.

The series includes “Maths in Use” and “Project Method” in preschool and primary school versions. “Science-Lab. Fascinating human anatomy” supports the teaching of science subjects in grades 4-8. “Maths in Use” and “Science Lab” are available in Polish and English. “Project Method” is only in Polish so far.

International successes

Some educational apps have been already presented on international markets. In the case of Meridian, it took place in London during the BETT Education Fair 2020. Together with the headquarters of Polish Supplementary Schools in America, it also organized a workshop session in the USA. It was for teachers and students to use new technologies in education. As a result, since February 2021, every Polish school in the United States has been using the Meridian Prime platform.

Eduexpert received an award for “Maths in Use” in the Educational Learning Resources category at the London Fair 2017. Being among the highly innovative projects builds a strong belief in the purposefulness of such product series and their international demand.
