Cardiomatics was the first in the world to improve AI ECG analysis significantly. Thanks to advanced AI algorithms, it has already analyzed over 25B heartbeats. All of them were recorded during regular Holter ECG examinations. It has led to the fact that today it is possible to shorten the waiting time for ECG analysis results by as much as 80%.
How does it work?
This achievement becomes significant when we realize how traditional analysis of ECG test results can be time-consuming. On the one hand, we have overworked doctors. And on the other, ever-longer queues of patients who wait a long time for the diagnosis. Poles were the first in the world to automate the process of analyzing ECG signals to such an extent. They created software that enables accurate detection and analysis of many elements of the ECG signal with just a few clicks. Finally, the doctor receives a report based on which he can conclude the patient’s current condition. The solution is based on the use of the AWS cloud, AI, and ML.
Medical facilities around the world already use the intuitive, extremely easy-to-use platform. For example, University of Basel, University of Copenhagen or Medical University of Warsaw. As well as hundreds of cardiologists and practitioners from over 15 countries around the world. Including Germany, Switzerland, England, and Poland (PZU Zdrowie). Established in 2017, Cardiomatics has been successfully accompanying many medical workers for several years. It relieves them of their daily duties and facilitating the analysis of millions of hearts, thus contributing to the fact that many of them will beat longer. In 2021, it received $2.3M for development from CEE VC Kaya with the participation of Nina Capital and Innovation Vest. And $1M from the NCBR.
