A global leader in digitization and new technologies at EY received the “IoT Solutions Leader of the Year” award. It was by the votes of 5,000 experts at the IoT Solutions World Congress, August 2020, San Jose.
There were more than 600 nominations for the awards. Entrants spanned the IoT ecosystem. From industrial IoT technology to edge computing and consumer offerings and deployments in several industry sectors. More than 80 companies and individuals were shortlisted for finalists, with winners selected in 16 categories. Apart from EY, the winners included many global companies. Such as Google, IBM, Amazon, Siemens, Microsoft, Accenture, and Apple. Since 2019, the awards series has celebrated innovative individuals and teams that advance IoT technologies.
Career
Today, Aleksander Poniewierski is a respected expert and recognized authority on modern technologies. For over 25 years, he has been advising the world’s largest companies. Especially on how to take advantage of civilization’s achievements while carrying out digital transformations. He is also a recognized expert in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection. At EY, he is responsible for consulting in process optimization, business model innovation, security. And data protection for the company’s main customers around the world. The team he manages includes over 6,500 consultants worldwide from the DET (Digital and Emerging Technologies) area. And boasts revenue generation of almost $1 bln.
Publications
He is also a recognized author of bestselling publications on the dynamics of technology in the current age. Her is an author of many articles. And a renowned keynote speaker at multiple conferences related to Digital Business, Cybersecurity, and New Technologies.
His latest book, “SPEED no limits in the digital era”, is available in English and Polish. SPEED is the combination of the first letters of the terms Security, Partnership, Emerging Technologies, Economy, and Digital Transformation. In the preface, the author wrote: “There is no doubt that you can speed up your business with new technologies. However, completely new business models are waiting to be exploited in the digital world. It is worth getting to know the principles of their operation and ways of effective use”.
Spare time
