Bałtycka Olimpiada Informatyczna 2023: Polak zwycięzcą po raz drugi z rzędu

Został nim Adam Gąsienica-Samek, a polska ekipa zdobyła w sumie 2 złote i 4 srebrne medale. Rok temu też triumfował Polak – Antoni Buraczewski. 29. edycja zawodów „Bałtycka Olimpiada Informatyczna 2023” odbyła się na przełomie kwietnia i maja 2023 roku w Lyngby w Danii.

Wzięły w niej udział 6-osobowe reprezentacje szkół średnich z krajów bałtyckich. Z Danii, Estonii, Finlandii, Islandii, Litwy, Łotwy, Niemiec, Norwegii, Polski i Szwecji oraz gościnnie reprezentacja Ukrainy. Łącznie w zawodach wzięło jednak udział 72 zawodników, bo Dania, jako gospodarz, mogła wystawić dwie reprezentacje. Reprezentację Polski stanowiło 6 najwyżej sklasyfikowanych uczestników finałów Polskiej Olimpiady Informatycznej uczęszczających do klasy niższej niż maturalna. I wszyscy zdobyli medale.

Bałtycka Olimpiada Informatyczna 2023 – wyniki

Zwycięzcą tegorocznych zawodów informatycznych został reprezentant naszego kraju Adam Gąsienica-Samek, uczeń II klasy XIV Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. Stanisława Staszica w Warszawie. Drugi złoty medal za 4. miejsce wywalczył Konstanty Smolira, który uczęszcza do III klasy Prywatnego Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. Królowej Jadwigi w Lublinie.

Srebrne krążki otrzymali natomiast: Marek Muzyka (za 6. miejsce) i Rafał Mańczyk (za 8. miejsce) z XIV LO we Wrocławiu. Oraz Waldemar Lamandini (za 9. miejsce) i Olaf Targowski (za 14. miejsce), uczniowie III LO w Gdyni. Wszyscy srebrni medaliści uczęszczają do III klasy.

Opiekunami drużyny byli Bartosz Kostka (Google Canada) i Tomasz Nowak (student Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego).
